Dear Family & Friends: Kathy's triple bi-pass surgery,
yesterday, went well. She is in the intensive care unit for
recovery. Only immediate family may visit, for short
periods of time. I think she will go to a regular room
tomorrow or Monday. Thank you for all your thoughts
and prayers! Love, Dennis

Hello Everyone!
I am writing this note to keep you in the loop about my latest medical
conditions.
l went by ambulance to Albany General Hospital last week. Having a
very high blood glucose level and a very low Blood Pressure. I was
placed in ICU. First diagnoses and treatment was for ketosis.
After many blood tests the doctors found a problem with an elevated
enzyme in my blood, which showed possible heart muscle damage.
They stated that I had had a mild heart attack. Most women and
diabetics show no symptoms for heart attacks, that is why I probably was
so sick.
Because of this, I was sent to Corvallis Hospital for an angiogram.
The results showed three clogged arteries. The cardiologist
recommends a triple bi-pass. The surgery will take place in a week
or so. I have an appointment scheduled, Monday, July 30th, with
the heart surgeon. A date for surgery has not been set yet. We
will keep you posted.
Please keep us in your prayers.
Love and Kisses, Kathy and Dennis

From
Newsletter #10 .
. . Holiday Greetings from Jim & Connie Gale
(Jim’s Connie)
Dear Family,
We had the honor of
becoming Grandparents again with the birth of our 3rd
GrandDaughter, Kennedy Lucille Abbas born on July
27, 2005 @ Mid-Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles,
Oregon. The proud parents are Didi and Joe Abbas and #1 Big Brother Mac Abbas.
I had made Pooh Dresses for Amaya and Tayla in the spring.
Tami & Jay had pictures taken of the girls, see left. When Kennedy arrived
I promptly got busy making another Pooh Dress for Kennedy. When I finished
the dress I asked our kids (Jay & Tami Gale and Didi & Joe Abbas) to get the
kids together and have their picture taken in the Pooh Dresses . . .
Well, to make a long story short, They did get together and
pictures taken and included family shots too! So, for Christmas not only
did we get what we asked for. . . pictures of the Grandkids in their
Pooh dresses . . . we also got a family picture as well. What a
wonderful way to Celebrate Life!

We spent time in Mexico in
November when we attended a trade show in Guadalajara. You will see our
Christmas Card from Ajijic, Jalisco later in the newsletter. We took some
GREAT pictures while we were there. We also saw poinsettias that were the
size of trees!
We also traveled to Florida
over the Christmas Holiday to celebrate Jim’s Wishmeyer reunion.

Jim had gastric bypass surgery in May of 2005 and has now
lost over 140#. You probably won’t recognize him when you see him! His
borderline diabetes and hypertension are now gone. He was able to reduce his
pressures on his CPAP for sleep apnea and he hasn’t had ANY problems with
lower extremity cellulitis. He continues with what he calls “Fat School”
group which meets twice a month with
either the surgeon,
dietician, physical therapist,
or psychiatrist. Check out this web site for information on the
Laparoscopic Roux-EN-Y Gastric Bypass at

Holidays to All of you, We send our love and best wishes. Jim &
Connie Gale
